Calling all Dorset writers!

The first ever Wimborne Literary Festival is on 29th October, sponsored by Gullivers Bookshop.
There's a great line-up, including Martin Brown, the bloke who illustrates the Horrible Histories (my sons want to come along to that one!), and historical writer Elizabeth Cooke whose latest book I've just ordered.

Sessions are just £3 each or £10 for the whole day. It's just up the road from me so I'm definitely going. Tickets available via Gullivers Bookshop. They're also running a free-to-enter competition, max 500 words, prize £50 in book tokens, closing date 29th Oct. See the Literary Festival website for more details.

The other thing I want to say to you all is: Tears and Laughter and Happy Ever After! Watch this space. Or search for it on Facebook, and 'like' the page to keep up with the latest news.
