100 stories for Haiti - available to pre-order

I'm delighted to say that the 100 Stories for Haiti anthology is to be published by Bridge House Publishing, and is available for pre-order here.

I hope you'll all dig deep and buy a copy, or two. There's no more worthwhile cause.

Well done again to everyone!

Mine are ordered and I'm very impatient to read all the other stories. The writers are such a great cross-section there really should be something in it for everybody.

Have ordered it - it's nice to be able to contribute to such a good cause and have some great reading to look forward to. Thank you for publicising it - I've not seen it anywhere else - I wonder if it'll get in book shops? Hope so.

I think we might all have to go and ask our local bookshops if they'll stock it... and get our local papers to run features about it...

It's one of those cases where the author has to do the publicity. In this case there are 100 authors, so hopefully we'll generate lots of publicity!

If each of those authors did a blog tour, it would really spread the word, Womag and of course, I'd be more than willing to host one.

Perhaps it's something you could suggest to the publisher and other authors.

Great idea Sally - I have just suggested it on the 100stories authors' forum. I see also that Greg McQueen, the force behind the book, has started his own blog tour (click on 100stories logo to the right)

We could swamp the blogosphere here which is no bad thing!

Hello, just got this message from Liz Smith from MW. Can everybody spread the word please in every way you can think of.

I wonder if you could do me a big favour. I believe you are a blogging fan.

In your next blog could you please post a message from me to anyone who might know Brenda Carter, author of short story Past, Present and Future.

Her contact details are not with the story and I would like to buy it. The writing world is a small one I know but this is still a long shot.

I’ve tried very other means at my disposal.

Can you help at all?

Cheers!

Liz

LOL!

Will post this message up now, Lion, and let's hope Brenda reads blogs!
