Womag-writing article series

I've just come across this useful series of articles by womag writer, Lydia Jones.

Well worth a read for anyone wanting to break into the women's magazine fiction market. She says it all much better than I could!

Couldn't agree more with the one about reading the magazines every week, every article, every advert.

I also remember when I started I used to narrow my margins right down so that I actually wrote at the same line length the magazine used in publication! Sounds a little obsessive but it really helped me to get my paragraphs and sentences the right length and in the right rhythm!

PS. And don't use too many exclamation marks ...
