Yellow Room competition

Just a quickie, to alert you to the Yellow Room competition, which closes on 31st March. Maximum 1000 words, no theme, entry fee £4 and top prize £100.

For full details see the website, linked above. Jo Derrick who owns, edits and publishes The Yellow Room and runs the competition works tirelessly to keep it all going so I hope you can support her. The writing world would be a duller place without people like Jo.

Sounds great. Okay, thinking cap on. I haven't written a short for a while. Might be fun.

Oops! I'll try again...
Hi,

I purchased her booklet after you last appeal reference supporting Jo, also left her a message saying I'd do something on my blog to promote her 'Yellow Room' too.

However, the booklet arrived, but no communication, in note form, or otherwise?

Happy to promote the competition at my writers group, and beyond though...as lots of us do competitions. It just seemed a little odd for someone wanting to spread the word.

Hi Maria!
I'm so sorry I didn't respond to your message offering to promote the magazine on your blog. Where did you leave your message? It would be wonderful if you could spread the word and please get in touch again. I promise to respond straightaway!
