Remember 'on acceptance' doesn't mean on the day it's accepted – that's just when the process starts. With some magazines it's a slowish process.

I have had to chase paymentsPatsyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12263765378083045973noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6539691603325793063.post-49574560271947664662018-09-20T10:01:08.456+01:002018-09-20T10:01:08.456+01:00I have only ever been paid by Tab after publicatio...I have only ever been paid by Tab after publication, so I think you've been lucky in the past. Strange that they have treated writers differently. They did say after the big changes that they would pay on acceptance, but this never seemed to happen (not to me,anyway.)

AngieMAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6539691603325793063.post-76539650692076021792018-09-20T07:11:06.266+01:002018-09-20T07:11:06.266+01:00Thanks for your comments Lionsshare. I certainly won't be writing any more stories for TAB under these circumstances (7 months to get a response and then even when it's accepted not being sure of payment.) Lets hope we both get paid before too long for all the hardAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14841199785925347671noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6539691603325793063.post-36827532419403059532018-09-19T10:40:48.718+01:002018-09-19T10:40:48.718+01:00Hi Patsy thanks for all your hard work with this b...Hi Patsy thanks for all your hard work with this blog.
Lisa, firstly congrats on your sale to Fiction Feast. I believe it is now their custom to pay on publication although there has been no official statement about this. However, I am trying to chase payment for a story which has been published and for which I have not yet been paid. Anyone else in this situation? Now up until recently, payment was on acceptance and usually followed about two weeks after the story was commissioned. But then I think I remembered reading a comment in a recent blog that TAB had reverted to payment on publication? I did send an email to TAB asking this Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14841199785925347671noreply@blogger.com
