Seasonal greetings

Wishing you a wonderfully splendid Winter Solstice, cheerful Christmas, happy Hogmany, nice New Year and a jolly good anything else you'll be celebrating over the next few days.

What are your plans? Will you be writing, taking a break, reviewing the past year, setting goals for 2017?

  1. I think I'll be doing all of those things. I have a writing project for next year which I'm keeping under my Christmas hat. Have a wonderful Christmas too Patsy.

  3. Have a wonderful Christmas yourself, Patsy. (No resolutions. I just break them.)

  4. Trying to decide what I want to write. I have been focussing more on romance novels this year to the detriment of short stories with the result of getting very little finished!

  5. Himself usually cooks The Dinner... so I specialise in doing 'a very good nothing' Lucky me! A chance to do lots and lots of reading.

Have a lovely time, everyone. Looking forward to reading Patsy's blog again next year.

  7. I'd started writing out my list of resolutions at the start of the month - top of the list was get a story in The People's Friend... of course they emailed me the very next day to say they wanted to buy a story...

So now on top of my resolutions list is 'Sell a story to Woman's Weekly.'

I'm also hoping and praying (might even get the rosary beads out) that I can actually sit in the one place long enough to start thinking about and writing that all elusive first novel!

  8. Merry Christmas to you, Patsy. I shall be writing a couple of short stories and working on my Pocket Novel which I have neglected of late. Am also going to look at any competitions to enter

  11. I'm going to read, relax and refuse to succumb to any festive-induced stress. Hope your Christmas is whatever you hope it will be.

  13. Have a Merry Christmas, Patsy. I am going to read lots of womag stories, and continue writing the one I started. I am reviewing what I want to write next year after the email bombshell from TaBFF. I think I will concentrate on reading WW and PF stories and see what stories I had already written can be rewritten for either of those. I will also concentrate on writing my children's fiction.
