When it comes to reading short fiction, which is your favourite magazine?
Do you subscribe to any? If not, where do you get them?
(btw, if you've run out of short stories to read, you might like to consider downloading my latest collection from Amzon. £1.99 for 25 stories, or free to read with kindle unlimited.)

Womags or any magazines?
I don't read womags that often, but TAB would be the one I've read the most short stories in.
Sci-fi magazines are more my thing when reading for pleasure.
I meant womags really, Captain Black - but it would be interesting to know what else people read.
It's been mainly the WW Fiction Specials which is where I have had some success. Just lately, however, I've been reading a lot of the PF pocket novels which I would like to have a go at.
PS: Any further updates re the changes at WW? I've currently got a story with them, sent by email to Clare, but I don't know whether it will be considered now or not, especially as I've had no response from the new fiction editor.
I'm in the same boat. Have enquired as to whether it will be read or if I should assume not and start sending it elsewhere but had no response.
Hi - I read them all. WW, TAB, My Weekly, The People's Friend. I enjoy the different types of story at different times. Giving I'm such an avid reader of short stories I guess I should be able to write fitting stories for them all, but most of the time I just enjoy the read rather than doing writerly research!!! Can't complain, though, as I get a fair few sales to keep me going.
Good wishes Kate Hogan
@ John and Sarah - Danni has begun replying to stories which had been submitted to Clare and clearly is considering them (she accepted one of mine!) so I'd hang on a bit longer.
Thanks for that Patsy
Sorry, that was me not anonymous. Don't quite know how I did that.
