I'm doing a book signing for Acting Like A Killer this Saturday at The Book Lee-on-the-Solent. If any of you happen to be in the area it would be lovely if you came in and said hello. I'll give you one of Amelia's caramels if there are any left!
It's my first event in a loooong time, so please wish me luck, and if you have any tips I'd love to hear them.

I hope there is a big turnout! At least your country has had the sense to just open and live with it.
Best of luck with signing Patsy, I wish I could be there but will be thinking of you (enviously) while I am working far away. Enjoy every minute, I hope you sell lots.
May'The Force' be with you, Patsy. Wishing you much luck and success. Kate Hogan
Good luck with the book signing, Patsy. I hope the day goes well for you.

Good luck, Patsy! Just enjoy the day.
How nice to feel that we're edging towards better, more relaxed times. Have a lovely day, Patsy. I regret that I'll be unable to come along and eat chocolates (must remember to edit this line, I'm sure I meant support) but I'm isolating and can only manage to read, drink tea provided by slaves, and snooze. It's a hard life. I might have to draw a few red lines on the next test kit . . . However, my recommendation for you is to bleach everyone who comes near from now until Saturday. Stay well! All good wishes for a successful day.
Best of luck for Saturday, Patsy. My tip from book signing - try to politely limit social conversations as much as reasonable. People will naturally want to ask questions about the book, which of course must be answered, but questions about writing in general could usefully be dealt with quickly! If someone is thinking of buying but you are ‘engaged’, they might drift away.
Thanks very much for the support and encouragement!
Have a wonderful relaxed book signing day! : )
Good luck Patsy! I would love to come but a bit far to travel. I hope it is a roaring success!
Very best wishes for your book-signing, Patsy. I haven't yet read 'Acting Like a Killer', but have ordered it for a family member's Kindle, so am looking forward to reading it soon. I hope you have a long line of customers. Many years ago, on my first trip to the Edinburgh Book Festival, I almost struck up a conversation with a teacher who was busily doing a pile of marking at a table in the sunshine in Charlotte Square. Just before I interrupted her, I realised she was actually Jacqueline Wilson and was signing books for an enormous line of children and parents. Wishing you a similar line!
All the best for a successful and fun book signing.
Thanks for all the supportive comments. I sold some books and the majority were to people who'd not read my work before. It's great to get new readers!
