The new fiction editor has sent out updated guidelines to regular contributors. If you're eligible to submit, you should have recieved a copy.
At the moment there's no change to the policy of accepting submissions only from those already known to the magazine, nor to the one submission a month restriction. If anything changes, I'll let you know.

Keeping my fingers crossed - I'd love to try this mag but I'm not a regular (and no chance to become one!)
Just a short note to say a big thank you for all your hard work with this blog, Patsi. It's much appreciated.

I don't buy this magazine BECAUSE, they won't give new talent a chance. I say it without worrying that they will never publish me, as I don't write anything they'll ever be interested in anyway. I write it on behalf of all the aspiring womag writers who just want an opportunity, and grit their teeth every time they hear the 'we're still not accepting anyone new' line.
I buy other magazines because I'm an avid reader of womag fiction but purposely never buy this one. Same as I'll never buy Mslexia as they don't publish anything from men.
Just saying. :-) Not shooting the messenger. Who does a great job on this blog.
Not expecting a response for obvious reasons, as one day the drawbridge might come down.
Hi
Have there been any changes please since this update? Is My Weekly still only accepting submissions from their regular published writers.
Many thanks
C
No changes that I'm aware of, C.
