As of today, anything posted to The People's Friend should be sent to 2 Albert Square, Dundee, DD1 1DD (That's not too hard to remember, is it?)
All other submission details are unchanged.
UPDATE Those who already have an editor at PF might have been given a different postcode. If so, they should use that. This address is for those who've not yet been assigned an editor there.

Hi Patsy, I know this is the address appearing on their website but it is not the same as my editor gave me. I've queried it with PF. The postcode I have is different! Will let you know.

That's interesting. This is the address they give on their facebook page (official guidelines haven't yet been updated).
Apparently they have two postcodes! The one you are quoting is fine but if you've been sent another by your editor that is also fine!
Confusing, hah?
Alyson
I've just today posted a story to the old address - will it still get picked up?Thanks.
@ Alyson - Thanks for confirming that. (It seems there's also a different one for Sat Navs!)
@ Anonymous - I'm sure they will have considered the possibility of that happening and made arrangements.
Thanks for the update, Patsy!
Thanks for a great blog Patsy. I would like to submit a short story to The Peoples Friend for the first time but I needed clarity on the word length. Their guideline says 1200 to 3000 words for short stories so can it be anywhere in between that? Im working on a story of 1500 words currently?
@Carmel
Hi Carmel,
The current guidelines give more precise word length requirements - 1200, 2000 or 3000. If you do submit anything other than these lengths, it's much harder for them to fit stories in, so they'll be far less likely to use them.
Thanks Patsy, that helps. Will tweak the story accordingly.
Carmel
