Over to you

This month's discussion topic – Which part of the world are you from? Does that have any impact on your womag writing?

Here's another random photo for use as a story prompt.

Please share success (or otherwise!) report any womag news, tips, advice you may have, make womag related comments or observations and ask questions – and answer them too if you can help.

(If you have news or a question relating to a particular magazine, it's also fine to add it as a comment to the latest post for that magazine.)

Patsy, after yesterday's blog post about changes at That's Life, Australia do you know if they want stories under the same categories as in the past - romance, heartwarmer, thriller, revenge etc

I believe the categories are the same, Alyson.

I'd be able to answer your question properly if I knew what a womag is. Dropping by to say hello! :)

It's shorthand for the type of fiction found in women's magazines (not that all the stories are the same!).

Always useful to have picture prompts to get the creative juices flowing so thank you :)

Hi - a month late on this post but I’ve just discovered you! I’m Mags and hail from Lincolnshire, UK and am an enthusiastic novice hoping to find an outlet for some of my short stories. Will be spending the rest of today reading through this site I reckon!

@ Carrie – I hope to see a story from you featuring something from this one.

@ Mags – There is quite a lot of reading available on here! Hopefully some of it will be useful.
