Isn't this pretty? It's the illustration for my latest story in Allas magazine. I love the colours and it suits the story perfectly.Allas is a weekly Swedish magazine which publishes two to four stories in each issue. These can be either one, or two pages (approx 1,000 or 1,500 words).
Although the magazine is published in Swedish, you may submit in English. Stories should however be suitable for a Swedish audience.

Some time ago, Simon Whaley found and translated their full guidelines. I've searched the website myself today, but failed to find any guidelines. If you have better luck, please let me know, so I can be suitably impressed!

I'm a bit confused by the word counts you give here for Allas submissions though.
You've said in previous posts about Allas that the shorter stories they publish are about 1000 words, and the only one I've sold to them was 1000 words.
Are they asking for shorter stories of 700 words instead now?

@ Sue - my mistake! It is 1,000, not 700 - I've changed it now.
